11. Calls for Papers

a. A special issue of Drug and Alcohol Dependence will focus on HIV and drug abuse issues affecting international settings. Please see the Call for Papers, with a deadline of May 1, 2005. 

b. The Program Committee for Treatment and Management of HIV Infection in the United States Conference invites all frontline health professionals providing HIV care to submit a paper for consideration in the poster program of this conference. The Program Committee is specifically interested in papers or vignettes that describe unique clinical experiences, new models of care and delivery, adherence interventions, testing and counseling, and other frontline interventions that have enhanced the outcome of HIV disease diagnosis.

 

12. Miscellaneous

a. A Perinatal Institute Preconference is happening April 10 in conjunction with amfAR's National AIDS Update Conference in Oakland. The course is designed for clinicians and others who work with HIV positive women.
