Examples of Fatalism
We just heard the statistics that something like 9
cities across the United States—something like
10-15% of all new infections are people getting infected
with drug resistant virus. So the people that are
giving the virus to these people already know they’re infected
and they’re already taking medications. So these are our
patients that we teach and instruct on a daily basis who
are going out and infecting other patients. In some
regards, I think it’s like almost hopeless to try to change
people’s sexual behavior, I shouldn’t say that but, you know,
that’s basically what my feeling is.
